A 22-year-old woman suffered severe side effects after using a slimming product with the treatment allegedly carried out by an uncertified individual.

The victim, who wished to be known only as Chua, claimed that at a press conference organised by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong on Friday (Dec 3), in which he reminded the public to only use beauty products that are authorised by the Health Ministry and get the services of certified individuals to administer such injections.
