Sephora stores have announced they will phase mink fur false eyelashes out of their inventories.
According to Allure, the company had plans to phase the lashes out at the beginning of 2020.
This week the company moved ahead with those plans after receiving a nudge by the animal rights group PETA.
Sephora has confirmed that it will cease the acquisition and sales of all mink-based lashes.
A statement from Sephora says that the remaining stock of mink-fur lashes will be the last it ever carries.
