According to reports, 'Hannibal' and ''Rogue One star Mads Mikkelsen, who also played the villain in Marvel's Doctor Strange movie, is interested in playing 'Doctor Doom' in Noah Hawley's upcoming big screen adaptation of the Marvel character. While in an interview with ScreenGeek recently, Mikkelsen was directly about playing Doom, to which he replied, "Yeah, it’s always interesting. Marvel seems to be experimenting with doing some of the villain’s stories as well. We’ll see when that day comes.” The role of Doctor Doom is one that many expect would be hard to nail down, but with's Mikkelsen big screen pedigree, comic book fans would probably want to see him in the role.
