1. Sketch it out. Eventually you’ll just do it in your minds eye but before then no shame in practicing on paper.
2. Good quality gel paint, I’m using @magpie_beauty Black Gel Paint +, it creates a perfect outline without moving or smudging.
3. Prep your brush by brushing it through gel, no blobs just perfectly coated bristles.
4. Follow that sketch you drew.
5. Fill it in.
6. Drag out any thin lines you want to achieve, any sharp edges. Work on wet layer until you’re happy with the way the flames look.
7. Cure in the lamp.
8. Overlay it with a layer of Clear GMS and you’ve got yourself beautiful flames.
9. All that’s left is you’re favourite top coat to fully finish the design.
10. TA DA!
