Crocodile Skin Inspired Nail Art | Bubble Nails ????????

Hi Everyone!

Today we have a design that is a bit different for you guys. This nail is inspired by a crocodile skin make-up bag. Such a simple and easy nail design using chrome flakes, top coat and bubbles, definitely one for everyone to give a shot.

To start this nail off a coat of of Serious Black is applied to the nail and cured. One of our stunning colour shift Chameleon chrome flakes is then buffed into the full nail to give this beautiful colour shift effect. The artist then applies a Matte coat over the nail to seal the chrome in and will ensure you get a better contrast of the skin effect later.

To get the crocodile skin effect top coat is applied to the nail using a fine detail brush, painting the outline of the crocodile skin and then a bubble mixture is laid over the top of the nail while the top coat is still wet and then the nail is popped in the lamp to cure. Once cured the bubbles will leave behind the skin effect.

If you want your design to be more 3D then you can use Mega Gloss which is a much thicker consistency and is more buildable than our Urban Graffiti Top Coat.
